Networking with a twist! MUSE GRIDS organises BRIDGE Networking Event in BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
On 11t February, Muse Grids partners Glen Dimplex Heating & Ventilation, EASE and RINA Consulting organised a networking event in Brussels as part of the annual BRIDGE General Assembly.
BRIDGE is a European Commission Initiative, established in 2015 in order to foster knowledge sharing and ensure transfer of learnings between Horizon 2020 projects in the area of smart grids and energy storage. As an active member of the BRIDGE initiative, the Muse Grids project committed to organising this special event to provide an opportunity for more informal networking alongside the various plenary and breakout sessions, thus enabling the participants to get maximum value out of the packed General Assembly agenda.
The event kicked off with a ‘networking bingo’ activity, whereby attendees were given a sheet with various categories and had a limited amount of time to meet as many people as possible in order to complete their bingo card. This highly interactive session brought out the competitive edge in the BRIDGE project representatives, who embraced it enthusiastically and rose to the challenge of making new contacts!
With the bingo winner announced, and rewarded with a highly-coveted box of Belgian chocolates, the guests enjoyed more relaxed networking over a buffet dinner. Extremely positive feedback was received from project representatives as well as the European Commission and BRIDGE coordination team who appreciated the ‘added-value’ of the event.
