MUSE GRIDS General Assembly IN GENOA, ITALY
A two-day General Assembly was held in Genoa, Italy, on the 3rd and 4th of April. The work done so far by the consortium and the next actions have been discussed.
Launched in November 2018, MUSE GRIDS is a research project which aims to transform weakly connected areas into local energy communities. And to do so, it will implement two large-scale pilot projects in different European contexts: the Italian city of Osimo and the rural neighbourhood of Oud-Heverlee in Belgium.
On the 3rd and 4th of April, the first MUSE GRIDS General Assembly was held in Genoa, Italy. Hosted by RINA-C, the project coordinator, it was a great opportunity to take a look at the work done so far and to discuss the tasks that will be completed in the following months.
On the first day, the Consortium’s partners focused on the activities undergone at the Italian and Belgian demosites. Particular attention was paid to the technical aspects, looking at – among others – the current status of generators and monitoring data. Besides, the plan for the next months was outlined.
On the second day, all the Work Package leaders held presentations, highlighting the goals, deliverables, and actions planned.
At the end of these two days, the partners had a clearer view of what the other Consortium members have achieved so far, the possible pitfalls, and what to do and expect from the following months. It was a positive meeting, and it was nice for the assembly participants to meet up again!
